    Dale Tax Service – Company History

    The company known today as Dale S. Goldberg CPA and Associates was originally called Dale Tax Service. It started as a store-front tax office in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia PA in 1974.

    Company owner Dale Goldberg believed working class individuals and small businesses deserved the same top quality financial, accounting, and tax services that were being offered to upper classes. The company initially offered ony tax preparation and filing services. As word spread, people began coming to Dale and his team for tax and business advice as well as help solving complex IRS, state and city tax problems. Demand grew, as did the company.

    By 1985, Dale Tax Service had 10 locations in the City of Philadelphia including offices at Frankford & Pratt, Roxborough, Castor, and Grant Avenues in NE Philadelphia and North and South Philadelphia.
